  • This qualification is for managers & those with significant responsibility for effective coaching & mentoring as part of their daily role within an organisational context.

  • It is also ideal for individuals who wish to move into a development role or start a career as a freelance coach or mentor.

How will you be assessed?

  • Assignment 1: Justify the reasons for having a coaching or mentoring programme in an organisation, describe potential barriers & methods to minimise these barriers (1100 words)

  • Assignment 2: Evaluate your own abilities to be an effective coach / mentor and identify and explain specific areas for development. (800 words)

  • Assignment 3: Describe in detail the process of a particular coaching or mentoring model or approach you are familiar with and its impact. (800 words)

  • Assignment 4: Reflective Journal - Describe the progress you have made as a coach / mentor throughout the course, (1200 words)

  • Practical element: Demonstrate the ability to plan, deliver & review at least 12 hours of coaching & mentoring
